The foundation, Yayasan Payung Seni Budaya Indonesia (Umbrella for the Arts and Culture in Indonesia Foundation) was established in September 2009 to support the arts in Indonesia via the following entities.

• www.artsinfo.artsindonesia.com (Established 2005)
• Radio ArtsIndonesia (Established September 2008)
• Newsletter on the Arts (Established October, 2006)
• Newsletter on Contemporary Music (Established October 2009)

The foundation is a non-profit foundation and is support by donations.  The foundation is a project of FracturedAtlas, a non-profit organization in the United States which supports art Activities.

However, various previous entitles, PT Fidiara Utama Maju, PT KarCon Indonesia and PT Karya Wahana Indonesia associated with Mr. Charles Conrad, have been supporting the arts in 1996 when the first classical music radio service (Radio Klasik) was established.

The Board of Managers is responsible for the day to day operations of the foundation. The Board of Managers are:

• Tinette Soekardjo, Chairman
• Chandi S. Conrad, Secretary
• Dewi Arimbi Lestari, Treasurer

Board of Advisers

The Board of Advisers consisting of Individuals who are:

• Indonesian born composers, conductor and performers,
• Heads of Universities Fine Arts Departments as well as
• Expatriates who have contribute to arts in Indonesia

And have the responsibility to provide guidance to the foundation in meeting its objections to support the arts in Indonesia. These individual are not part of the foundation but in an advisory capacity.
